JEFFERSON COUNTY – County Commissioner Kathy Hartman announced Thursday that she has received more than 30 endorsements from Jefferson County officials from both major political parties. Hartman is running for re-election as Jefferson County Commissioner.

“I am both humbled and proud of the number of endorsements we have received during my campaign,” Hartman said. “As County Commissioner, I have worked tirelessly to get things done for the residents of Jefferson County. Being a public servant is about working beyond party lines to solve problems and utilize common sense solutions to serve the county. It means being frugal with the taxpayers’ dollars while providing needed services.”

Hartman’s endorsements range from U.S. Senator Mark Udall, a Democrat, to the Mayor of Edgewater, Bonnie McNulty who is a Republican.

“I am supporting Kathy as she is budgeting for the long-term,” McNulty said. “She is leading the County to adjust current spending to anticipate future revenue challenges-challenges that could extend far beyond her term limits. She will not leave a financial hole for future Boards.”
