County schedules HOA workshop on new legislation

JEFFERSON COUNTY – Homeowner association members will have the opportunity to learn about legislation affecting HOAs, legal issues for covenant enforcement, architectural standards for renewable energy and more at a roundtable event at 5:30 p.m., June 10, at Peak Community & Wellness Center, 6612 South Ward Street in Littleton.
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Community Associations Institute and Jefferson County are partnering to present the event. Speakers and topics include: Current legislation affecting HOAs, Chris Pacetti; association budgeting and reserves from James Moore; architectural standards for solar and other renewable energy from, Todd Mata; and legal issues regarding collections, covenant enforcement and meetings, David Graf .
Experts will be available to answer questions during roundtable discussions.
