Jeffco Workforce Center schedules casino job fair

JEFFERSON COUNTY – The Jeffco Workforce Center will host the Fifth Annual Casino Job Fair at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, May 11 from 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
Interested job seekers will meet directly with Black Hawk and Central City casino employers who are hiring for a variety of positions to include cooks, gaming dealers, housekeepers, valet, security, host/hostesses, bartenders, food servers and more! In addition, attendees can learn about gaming license requirements and what it’s like to work in the casino industry.
Casinos, now operating on a 24-hours-a-day, 365-day-a-year schedule, have added craps and roulette and increased table stakes from $5 to $100. This is an excellent time to consider a career in the casino industry. The advantages include above average wages, great benefits, exciting work environment and room for advancement.
