Lakewood Police find child missing from school

LAKEWOOD – Police late Monday afternoon found a 7-year-old boy who wasmissing for hours after left school at Bear Creek Elementary following an altercation.
“He has been safely located near the school and has been returned to his parents,” Andrea Joo, LPD spokeswoman, announced about 7:30 p.m.
Few details of the incident and search were available, but police issued an “informational item” through the media as they began looking for Cadin Willis.
According to police, Cadin left the school early Monday afternoon and had not returned to either the school or home. Officers were unsure what caused the unspecified “altercation” or how serious it was.
Several members of the Lakewood Police Department spent the afternoon trying to locate Cadin.
