Lakewood police seek joy riders caught on camera

Occupants of a vehicle reported stolen in Lakewood cruise through a red light in Denver.
LAKEWOOD – Police have their picture, now the cops need their names.
Three of four suspects in a vehicle reported stolen from the 3200 block of S. Hoyt Street in Lakewood in June unknowingly posed as they passed through the intersection of Quebec Street and East 36th Avenue in Denver two days later.
But they ran a red light in their joy-ride approach to the intersection, triggering a traffic camera.
The 2004 Dodge sedan was recovered July 9 in the 2900 block of East 45th Avenue in Denver.
Now Lakewood police want to know who the suspects are so they can pose for another picture: a mug shot.
Anyone with information about the crime or the suspects should call Det. Shaun Gayner at (303) 987-7253.
