The best pancakes in town are back this summer at the Belmar Farmers’ Market.

Every Sunday this summer through the end of September, the Belmar Optimist Club will be selling pancakes, fruits and hot dogs at the Farmers’ Market. Look for our booth located along West Alaska Place east of Teller Street in the Belmar District.

The Market is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday.

The pancake booth is operated by students from Alameda High School earning money for their school’s extracurricular activities such as Honor Society, cheerleaders, yearbook, band, choir and scuba club among others.

The Belmar Optimist Club, whose mission is to support our community’s youth, manages the event.

The club meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month at noon at the LePeep Restaurant on W. Alameda Ave. just north of the Belmar District. For questions, call Lee Flower at 303-985-8549 or David Wiechman at 303-986-4818.
